Anniversary Card with Penny Black Stamps and Die

Here is an Anniversary card I made using Penny Black Stamps and matching die.  The layout is one I saw on Operation Write Home (http://operationwritehome.org/sketch-challenge-224/).

This card is 4 x 5.25 inches and was made with the following:

  • Penny Black Blooming Garden
  • Coordinating Penny Black Die

  • Copic Markers, G21, G24, G46, R81, R83, R85
  • Ribbon
  • Spellbinders Classic Scalloped Ovals
  • Taylored Expressions Many Minis - Occasions
To make the card, I first stamped the poppy image in Memento Tuxedo Black ink, and then colored the image with Copic markers.  I used the coordinating die to cut the image using my Cuttlebug.

I then stamped the sentiment and cut it out using Spellbinders Classic Scalloped Ovals Die. Ribbon was attached to the card, with the sentiment over the ribbon.

Stampin' Up Wetlands Card

This is a simple card I made using the sandpipers from the Stampin' Up Wetlands stamp set.  The card was inspired a card I saw on: http://www.rainyboxcrafts.com/2013/08/freshly-made-sketches-99.html

The card is 4 x 5.5 and was made with the following:

  • Stampin' Up Wetlands Stamp set
  • Memento Ink Tuxedo Black
  • Spellbinders Circles and Scalloped Circles
  • Ribbon
To make the card, I first stamped the sandpipers several times on white card stock.  These were then cut using the Spellbinders circle die.  Using green card stock, I then cut matching scalloped circles.  The background paper was actually scraps from other projects.  Ribbon was added to give it a more finished look.

Get Well with Cricut Wild Card

I made this simple band-aid card for my husband who was recovering from surgery.

The card was made with the following:
  • Cricut Wild Card cartridge
  • Cuttlebug Swiss Dots Embossing Folder
I used the band-aid image and all layers from the Cricut Wild Card cartridge, cut at 6.5 inches.  I then embossed the band aid using the Swiss Dots Embossing Folder.  The card was then assembled, using pop dots for the center part of the band-aid.
