Gina K inspired Anniversary Card

This card was inspired by a Gina K video. Instead of using the oval from Master Layouts 9, I used a stencil from My Favorite Things. 

For this card I used:

• Gina K - Master Layouts 2
• Gina K - Friendly Silhouettes, Lacy Borders
• Gina K - Inks: Wild Wisteria, Turquoise Sea, Bubble Gum, Black Onyx, and Pigment White
• Honey Bee - Sentiment Banners dies
• My Favorite Things - Oval Extraordinaire Stencil
• Versamark
• Stampendous Detail White Embossing Powder

To make the card, I cut the white panel using the stitched rectangle from Master Layouts 2.  The black mat was cut using the associated rectangle die.  The oval was placed on the white panel to mask the center area and the inks added over the top, getting lighter toward the edges.  The silhouette was stamped in black.  The sentiment from Lacy Borders was stamped with white pigment ink, embossing powder was added and heat set.  It was then cut out with one of the banner dies and added to the white panel using foam squares.  The white panel was added to the black mat and the entire piece added to the card base to complete the card.

Happy Valentines Day

Yet another card made with Gina K products!  This is the card I'm giving my husband for Valentines Day:

For this card I used:

• Gina K Designs - Inks: Cherry Red, Tangerine Twist, Wild Dandelion, Lucky Clover, Blue Raspberry, Wild Lilac, Black Onyx

To make the card, white card stock was cut using the stitched rectangle from Master Layouts 2.  Black cardstock was cut using the associated rectangle die for the mat.  The Love stamp was stamped onto a piece of Masking Magic and fussy cut.  The Love stamp was then stamped on the white card stock panel and each letter masked.  The heart was cut from acetate (so I could use it for a long time!) and was centered on the white panel.  The inks were then added in rainbow order using blending brushes (my Ink Stand came in handy again!).  The heart mask was removed, then each letter mask was removed.  The 'you' was stamped in black ink.  The white panel was added to the black mat and the entire piece added to the card base to complete the card.

Birthday Card (with Gina K products)

I watched as Gina K did a similar card on her YouTube video, and once I had the stamps and dies I had to do something similar!

To make the card, I used Masking Magic and cut the windows die from Master Layouts 9.  I cut a piece of white card stock using the stitched rectangle from Master Layouts 2, and a piece of black cardstock using the associated mask.  I placed the Masking Magic on the white card stock and then added the inks, using blender brushes. The images were then stamped in each quad using black ink.  The sentiment was stamped using white pigment ink on black paper.  Embossing powder was added and heat set.  This was then cut out with one of the banner dies from Master Layouts 3, and added using foam squares.  The white panel was added to the black mat and the entire piece to the card base to complete the card! 

I've been using my Ink Stand and its wonderful, especially when using blender brushes.  Besides keeping my fingers less inky, I can remember the inks I used!  I used it for this card:
