Baby Card

Here is a card that was inspired by several pins on Pinterest (see the original websites at: http://melodylanedesigns.blogspot.com/2014/02/baby-shower-card.html
http://www.gotrubberwillstamp.blogspot.com/2011_04_01_archive.html)

The card is 4x5.5,  The background quilt is 4x4, and made up of 1x1 inch squares and triangles.  The quilt was then embossed with Stampin' Up! Houndstooth embossing folder.

The giraffes are from the Artbooking Cricut cartridge, cut at 8" and 5" (real dial size was off - so these cut proportionally).  The baby carriage is from the Everyday Paper Dolls Cricut Cartridge, cut at 2 1/4 inches.  The grass is from Martha Stewart Season Cake Art Cartridge, cut at 1 inch.

The scalloped circle for the sentiment was cut from a Spellbinders die.

Valentines Card

I made this card for my husband.

The finished card is 4 x 5.5, and is a S-fold type card.  I started with an 8 x 5.5 size white piece of paper.  The card base was scored at 2 inches and then 4 inches.

The cuts are from several Cricut cartridges.  The red hearts are from Art Philosophy, cut at 4 inches.  The white sentiment inside is from Artbooking, cut at 2.5 inches and the white image on the outside is from A Child's Year cartridge.

Birthday Starburst Card

I've seen several Starburst cards on Pinterest.  I thought it would be a great way to use up some scraps.  Turns out its a very easy and quick card to make.  Here is my version of a Starburst card.

This card is 4 x 5.5.  To make the Starburst, I cut strips of card stock into rectangles that were 1.5 x 4 inches.  These were then cut diagonally into triangles.  I then places these on the card base so that the pints of the triangles meet in the middle of the card.

The stamp is from the Close to My Heart Cricut Artiste stamp set, colored with Copics (B45 and E27).  Wink of Stella Clear Glitter brush was used for the frosting.
