Halloween 2012 - Card 5


While designing and trying different options for my Halloween cards, I had several un-used cuts.  I made this card with some of the left-overs
 
 
This card is 4 x 5.5.  The background is in Maroon is 3.25 x 4.75.  The Tree is from Heritage, cut at 4" high, and 3" wide. The Pumpkins(cut at 3.25 x 1) and Grass (3.25 x .75) are from Martha Stewart Seasonal Cake Art.

Halloween 2012 - Card 4


Bats and the Moon were a common theme this year.  Here is the 4th Halloween Card



 
This card is 4 x 5.5. The bat is from Wild Card cut at 1.75". The Moon is a 2" circle, cut from Cricut Craft Room Basics. The Tree is from October 31st, cut at 4" high, and 3" wide.

Like yesterday's card, this card is 4 x 5.5.  The backgrounds in Black and Orange are 3.5 x 5 and 3.25 x 4.75.  The bat is from Wild Card cut at 1.75".  The Moon is a 2" circle, cut from Cricut Craft Room Basics.  The Owl is from October 31st, cut at 3".

Halloween 2012 - Card 1


This is the first of 5 cards I made this year for Halloween.  The idea for this card came from a card on display at The Queen's Ink in Savage Maryland.
 

 
This card is 4 x 5.5.  The backgrounds in Brown and Orange are 3.5" x 5" and 3.2"5 x 4.75".  The bats are from Wild Card cut at 2", 1.75" and 1.5" (I used my Gypsy to hid the spider).  The Moon is a 2" circle, cut from Cricut Craft Room Basics.  The Stamp is Wetland Board by Memory Box.

This card is 5 x 7 and made with Martha Stewart Punch around the page and corner punches, CuttleBug Swiss Dots embossing folder, and a butterfly cut from a Cricut Cartridge (don't remember which one!)

A Pig Card


I can't remember the reason for making this card, but I do remember that it was for my daughter-in-law who loves pigs.  


This card is 4.25 x 5.5.  The Pig is from the From My Kitchen Cartridge cut at 3 inches.  The Shadow feature was also used.

A card for Grandpa


Here is a card I made for my Grandpa.  I had gotten the Preserves cartridge and the strawberries reminded me of him, since when I was a kid we used to pick strawberries at his farm. 



 This card is 4.25 x 5.5.  The Strawberries are from the Preserves Cartridge, cut at 3.25, and embossed with the cuttlebug folder Swiss Dots

Here is a card that I made for a neighbor recovering from a broken hip.  




This card is 4.25  x5.5.   For the outside, from Elegant Edges at 5 inches cut <Shift><Oblong>Leaves and  <shift><Shadow> Leaves.  For the inside, the background is from Elegant Edges @ 5 Inches <Shift><Oblong>Leaves .  The Dancer is from Shall We Dance, cut @ 4 inches, cut <Dancer25>, <Dancer25><Shift>, and <Layer> <Dancer25>,  The text is from Sans Serif cut at .5 inches

Another Christmas Card

Here is a Christmas Card that I made one year.  I was not real happy with the way this one turned out, it feels like its missing something.  

This card is 4.25 x 5.5 inches.  The fireplace is from the Joys of the Season Cartridge, <Fireplace> cut at 3 inches.  The layer function for <Fireplace> were cut in both Black and yellow.  The Stockings are from the Very Merry Tags Cartridge, cut at one inch.  I used the I-Rock tool and gems to "hang the stockings"
