I was fortunate that I was able to take the Art Impressions Class at CKC in Lancaster.  We did 4 different images in the class.  When I take a class most of the time I don't make cards with the class images, but with the Art Impressions class images, I did make cards!  Here they are:

For the cards, I used:
Art Impressions Watercolor stamps
Various Tombow markers

Wreath:

Golden Anniversary Card

Here is a card I made for a friends 50th Wedding Anniversary.  For this card, I knew I needed to use a lot of gold.  So for this card, foil and gold embossing powder were needed!

I used to following for the card:

  • Deco Foil - Champagne Foil, Toner Sheets
  • Gina K Designs - Heart Circle Die, Large Single Stitch Circle dies, Wish stamp set
  • Picket Fence - Words to Say Happy Anniversary stamp set
  • VersaMark
  • Stampendous - Detail Gold Embossing Powder

To make the card, I cut the Heart circle from a Toner Sheet.  This was then foiled with the Champagne foil and added to the card base.  The white circle was cut using one of the circle dies.  The bottle and glasses are from Words to Say Happy Anniversary stamp set.  These were stamped with Versmark, Gold Embossing Powder added and heat set.  I then used the curlicues are from the Wish stamp set, and were also stamped in Versamark, Gold Embossing Powder added and heat set.  The circle was then added in the center of the heart circle.  The sentiment was added with Versamark, Gold Embossing Powder added and heat set to complete the card.

Birthday Card with Hero Arts July Kit

My husbands birthday is in July, and he loves the outdoors.  When I saw the My Monthly Hero Kit for July, it was one I knew I had to have it, just for the birthday card! Here is the card I made:

I used the following to make the card:

  • My Monthly Hero Kit July 2019
  • Hero Arts Ink - Sandstone, Dusty Blue, Cocoa
  • Gina K Ink - Blue Denim, Black Amalgam
  • Distress Oxide - Hickory Smoke, Pumice Stone, Evergreen Bough, Pine Needles
  • Versmark
  • Hero Arts Blue Pearl Embossing Powder

To make the card, I stamped all layers of the dock, the mountains and the trees.  I then masked the mountain area and the dock.  Using my Picket Fence Life Changing  Brushes, I added the lighter blue for the sky, and the darker blue for the water.  Over the water, I added some waves (these are not visible in the picture) by stamping them with Versamark and adding the Blue Pearl Embossing Powder.  A few ducks, birds and a fish were added, along with the sentiment.  The panel was trimmed and matted and added to a card base to complete the card.
