Fathers Day Cards

Here are a few of the Fathers Day cards I've made.

The cards a 4 x 5.25.  The cards were made with the following:

• Taylored Expression Ray of Sunshine Die
• Variety of coordinating papers
• Memento Tuxedo Black Ink
• Spellbinders Oval Dies
• Stamps - The Bicycle is from CMTH Enjoy Like Stamp set.  The other stamps are from Hero Arts.

To make the card, I used the Ray of Sunshine die and with my Cuttlebug, cut it 5 times with different paper.  I then added the frame to a card front.  I then added the pieces to the frame.  The images were stamped, and then cut with an oval Spellbinders die and added to the card.

Mothers Day Cards

Here are some of the Mothers Day cards I've made.

These cards were made with the following:

• Darice Embossing Folder - Basket Weave
• Hero Arts Stamp - Blooming Meadow
• Versamark
• Stampendous Detailed White and Black Embossing Powder
• Memento Inks

To make the cards, I stamped the image with Versamark, and then added the embossing power.  After heat embossing, I sponged over the image with green, pink and blue Memento ink.  The image was cut down to 3.75 x 3 and matted to 4 x 3.25.  I used a Darice embossing folder on the base of the card.  The sentiment was stamped and then cut out with an oval Spellbinders die.  

Christmas Cards 2013, Cards #8 and #9

These are the last of this years Christmas Cards.  The Snowmen on these cards is from the Snow One Like You stamp set by Gina K.  They were colored with a variety of Copic Markers.  The sentiment on the cards is one that I picked up last year.  The snowflakes in the background of both cards are from the Snow One Like You and Simple Snowflakes Gina K stamp sets.

 

 

Christmas Cards 2013, cards #4 and #5

For these cards, I used the snowman stamp from Snowman Wishes by Gina K.  Both of the cards were colored with a variety of Copic Markers.  I used a Spellbinders oval die to cut around the snowman.

 

 

Christmas Cards 2013, Cards #2 and #3

For these cards, I used Greenhouse Society stamps, for both the Pine cones and sentiment.  For the first card, I stamped the pine code with versamark, and then embossed with Stampendous detailed Gold embossing powder.  The pine cone was colored with a Copic marker (E25).   The only difference with the second card, was that detailed Black embossing powder was used for the pine cone.

 

 

 

 

Christmas Cards 2013 Card #1

Here is a card that is 4x5.25.  I stamped the Christmas tree and the sentiment with Versamark, and then embossed with Stampendous Detailed White embossing powder.  I used a bit of ribbon to provide a separation between the tree and the sentiment.

Sympathy Card

Unfortunately there is not a lot of time to make a sympathy card.  Here is a simple one. The stamps are from the Greenhouse Society.  The card is 4.25 x 5.5.

Glitter Ritz and Stamping

Here is a card that I made with a Stampendous Stamp (one of my favorites), and Glitter Ritz.  The idea for this card came from a YouTube video by Scrapbooking Made Simple.

For this card I stamped the image twice.  On the base layer, I lightly sponged on Memento Rich Cocoa to give the card an aged looked.  From the second image, I cut out the center portion, and used Memento ink, and Copic markers to add a bit of color.  Then, Sookwang double sided tape was added to the image, and Cool Highlights Glitter Ritz was added.  The image was added to the base, with foam, to add a bit of dimension.

Thinking of You

This card is 5 x 7 and made with Martha Stewart Punch around the page and corner punches, CuttleBug Swiss Dots embossing folder, and a butterfly cut from a Cricut Cartridge (don't remember which one!)

A Pig Card

I can't remember the reason for making this card, but I do remember that it was for my daughter-in-law who loves pigs.  

This card is 4.25 x 5.5.  The Pig is from the From My Kitchen Cartridge cut at 3 inches.  The Shadow feature was also used. 

A card for Grandpa

Here is a card I made for my Grandpa.  I had gotten the Preserves cartridge and the strawberries reminded me of him, since when I was a kid we used to pick strawberries at his farm. 

 This card is 4.25 x 5.5.  The Strawberries are from the Preserves Cartridge, cut at 3.25, and embossed with the cuttlebug folder Swiss Dots

Get Well card

Here is a card that I made for a neighbor recovering from a broken hip.  

This card is 4.25  x5.5.   For the outside, from Elegant Edges at 5 inches cut <Shift><Oblong>Leaves and  <shift><Shadow> Leaves.  For the inside, the background is from Elegant Edges @ 5 Inches <Shift><Oblong>Leaves .  The Dancer is from Shall We Dance, cut @ 4 inches, cut <Dancer25>, <Dancer25><Shift>, and <Layer> <Dancer25>,  The text is from Sans Serif cut at .5 inches

Made with Mom

Here is a card that I made with my Mom.  The entire card is from Wild Card. The envelope is the door, and the card is the house.

A simple birthday card

Here is a card that I made for our neighbors grandson, who was turning 2.  The cake is from Stretch Your Imagination, and the Happy Birthday sentiment on the inside is from Wild Card.

A Birthday Card

Here is a card that I made for my neighbor.  She loves butterflies, and flowers.

All of the cuts on the front of the card are from Serenade.  The butterflies on the inside are from a Martha Stewart punch.

Another Christmas Card

Here is a Christmas Card that I made one year.  I was not real happy with the way this one turned out, it feels like its missing something.  

This card is 4.25 x 5.5 inches.  The fireplace is from the Joys of the Season Cartridge, <Fireplace> cut at 3 inches.  The layer function for <Fireplace> were cut in both Black and yellow.  The Stockings are from the Very Merry Tags Cartridge, cut at one inch.  I used the I-Rock tool and gems to "hang the stockings"

Another card made in 2009.  This one is also 4.25 x 5.5, and uses one of the snowmen from Snow Friends. The snowflakes are from a punch.
