Dragonfly

Its amazing how many colors there are for dragonflies (just google it!).  One of the prettier ones is one that is teal.  So that is what I used for my Dragonfly.  To make the wings appear to be more filmy velum was added behind them.  The Dragonfly is what inspired the rest of the card, which I kept simple.

For the card, I used:
  • Simon Says Stamp - Glitter paper
  • Ranger Dye Ink - Caribbean Coast
  • MFT - Handwritten Happiness stamp set
  • Gina K Designs - Soft Stone Ink
  • Wendy Vecchi - Basically Bricks Stencil
  • Cheery Lynn - Dragonfly with Angel Wings dies
To make the card, I cut the Dragonfly from glitter paper and added the velum wings.  Directly on the card base, a bit of brick was stenciled in grey. The sentiment was added near the bottom of the card to complete the card.

Easter Card with Elizabeth Craft Desgins Peel Off Stickers

For this card I used Elizabeth Craft Designs Peel Off Stickers, Glitter Ritz Micro Fine Glitter, Copic Markers, and a Cherry Lynn Doily Die.

The card is 4 x 5.5.  After cutting the Doily in my Cuttlebug, I cut it in half, and attached each half to the side of the card.  For the Easter Eggs and butterflies, I applied Sookwang Double Sided tape to a piece of white card stock, exposed the tape, and then added the Peel Off stickers.  Cool Highlight Glitter Ritz was then added.  I used various colors of Copic markers to color the eggs and butterflies.

Christmas Card with WPlus9 and Cheery Lynn Dies

I recently ordered the WPlus9 Quilt dies and had to try them.  I used paper I had at hand (and it was from a recently made Christmas card).  The doily in the background is a Cherry Lynn die, and was
cut in half.
