Sunflower Anniversary

An anniversary card for someone who loves sunflowers!

For this card I used:

• Gina K Designs - Blooming Sunflower Stamp set and dies
• Gina K Designs - Gauze Background Stamp
• Gina K Designs - Large and Small Stitched Oval dies, Master Layouts 2
• Lawn Fawn - Walnut Ink
• Wow - Gold Pearl Embossing Power
• Versmark
• Zig Clean Color Real Brush - various colors
• Clearly Besotted - Tiny Type Stamp set

To make the card, the sunflower image was stamped with Versamark, embossing powder added and heat set.  The image was cut out with the coordinating die and colored with the Zig Clean Color Real Brush markers.  The background was stamped using the Gauze stamp and walnut ink. This was then cut using Master Layouts 2, along with the associated mat.  The two ovals were cut using the Stitched ovals dies.  The sentiment was stamped on the smaller oval using Versamark, embossing power added and heat set.  The card was then assembled, the background mat added to the card base, followed by the stamped gauze image, the large oval, the small oval and finally the sunflower image was added to complete the card.

Christmas Place Cards

Its tradition at my parents house to have place cards at Christmas time.  There aren't that many of us, but it was something that my niece started several years ago.  The ones that we had been using were getting old, so we decided to make some new ones.  Here are the ones that we made:

I used:

• Neat & Tangled Christmas Pageant stamps and dies
• Neat & Tangled Elf and Their Shelf stamps and dies
• Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers
• Wink of Stella - Clear
• Sizzix Letter Dies

To make these cards, the images were stamped, and then colored with the Zig Clean Color brushes.  The images were cut out using the matching dies.  Letters for all of the names were cut using the Sizzix dies.  Red, Green and Blue card stock was cut, and the images added to complete the place cards.

Anniversary Card with Penny Black Poppy Gems

Here is an Anniversary Card I made using Penny Black Poppy Gems.

I used the following to make the card:

• Penny Black - Poppy Gems
• Versafine Black Onyx Ink
• Zing Clear Embossing Powder
• My Favorite Things - Together Forever Stamp set
• Zig Clean Color Brushes
• Pssst Sheer Shimmer - Gold

To make this card, I stamped the image with Versafine Black Onyx ink, then added the embossing powder and heat set.  I then water colored the images with Zig Clean Color Brushes.  Instead of leaving the background plain, I decided to add color with the Zig Clean Color Brushes.  I then spritzed the image with Pssst Sheer Shimmer.  The sentiment was added and the panel added to a card base to complete the image.

Penny Black Any Occasion Card

Here is a card I made using a Penny Black Stamp and Zig Clean Color Real Brush pens.  I haven't decided the occasion for the card yet, so the final sentiment hasn't been added.

To make the card, I used the following:
Versafine Black Onyx Ink
Zing Clear Embossing Powder
Penny Black - Gentle Day Stamp
Zig Clean Color Real Brush Pens
Simon Says Stamp Stitched Rectangles

To make the card, I stamped the image with Versafine Black Onyx Ink, then added the clear embossing powder and heat set.  The image was then colored with the Zig Clean Color pens.  In this case, I just used the pens and blended the colors directly - no water was added.  The image was cut with the Stitched Rectangle die, and added to the blue background (also cut with a larger Stitched Rectangle die).  This was then added to the card base to complete the card.

Another Easter Card with Elizabeth Craft Designs

Here is another late Easter Card.

I used the following to make the card:

To make the card, I randomly colored the Zig Clean Color markers on a piece of Bristol paper.  I used a bit of water to blend the colors together.  From this I cut the detailed portions of the eggs.  I then cut the solid portions for the eggs using Shimmer Sheets.  The details portions of the eggs were added to the shimmer sheet eggs.  Glitter dots were added to the eggs.  The grass was cut from a sheet of Green Shimmer Sheets, using the Outdoor Edges die.  The eggs and grass were added to background piece of My Favorite Things Water color wash paper.  The entire piece was then cut using the stitched Rectangle die and added to the card base.  The sentiment was added to complete the card.

Winter Joy Poinsettia

To make the card, I stamped the Poinsettia in Versamark, added the embossing powder and heat set. The image was then  water colored with the Zig Clean Color Brush Pens.  I added only a little of the color, and then used water with Perfect Pearls mixed in.  This added a lot of gold shimmer to the image.  The sentiment was stamped with Versamark, the gold embossing power added, and heat set. The entire panel was sprayed with the Psst Sheer Shimmer to add even more sparkle to the card. The image was matted with green card stock, and then added to a gold glittered card base.
