Perfect Pearls Butterflies

The other day I was just playing around with Perfect Pearls.  I made these birthday cards with samples I made.

These cards are 4x5.5,  To make these cards I first stamped the butterflies all over the card stock with Versamark.  Then I added a small amount of Perfect Pearls to each butterfly.  I then set the Perfect Pearls with a light mist of water.  I then added a strip of coordinating paper, and stamped the sentiment with Versmark, and embossed with Detailed White embossing powder.

Swallowtail Birthday Card

I just love the Swallowtail stamp from Stampin' Up.  Here is a birthday card I made with it:

This card is 4x5.25.  I first stamped the image with Versamark, then embossed with Stampendous Detailed Black Embossing powder.  I then colored the image and background with a variety of Copic markers.

A Fishing Card - Northwoods Rubber Stamps and Copic (Fish Jumping with Lure)

Here is a card that I made for my husband.  The card is 4 x 5.5.

The card was made with the following:
  • Copic Markers B00, B12, B14, Y13, Y17, YR18, G24, G46, YG25, T0
  • Atyou Spica Clear and Gold
  • Glossy Accents
  • DCWV Neutral Stack
  • Northwood Rubber Stamp M9513 Fish Jumping For Lure
  • Memento Tuxedo Black Ink
To make this card, I stamped the image twice with Memento Tuxedo Black on white card stock.  The fish on both images was colored with Copic Markers.  The fish that I liked the best was then fussy cut out, and highlights were added with the Atyou Spice Gold pen.  The highlights do not show well on the photo.

I then completed coloring the other image, adding color to the lure and water, both were then highlighted with Atyou Spica Clear.  I added Glossy Accents to the lure.

The image was then cut down in size, and matted with navy and yellow DCWV paper.  These were then added to the card base which was a red-orange from the DCWV Neutral Stack paper.

To add dimension, pop dots were added to the fish which was cut out.  This fish was then attached to the image.

Easter Card with Elizabeth Craft Peel-off Stickers and Embossing

Here is the last of my Easter Cards.  I saw a similar card at: http://bobbistreasure.blogspot.com/2014/01/owh-mid-week-throw-down-pastels.html and liked it so much I made my own version!

This card is 4 x 5.5 and was made with the following:

  • Darice Embossing Folder - Cherry Blossoms
  • Cuttlebug Embossing Folder - Swiss Dots
  • DCWV - Brights Stack
  • Glitter Ritz Cool Highlight
  • Copic Markers - G24, R83, Y06, B00
  • Peel-off Stickers Easter Eggs - 2541
  • Sookwang Double sided tape
  • Elizabeth Craft Design Peel Off Stickers - Small Eggs 898

  • To make this card, I cut the yellow card stock to 3.75 X 5.25 and embossed it with the Swiss Dots embossing folder, and attached it to the card base.  The Green layer was cut at 2.75 x 4.25 and attached.  The pick layer was cut at 2.5 x 4, embossed with the Darice embossing folder and attached.

For the Easter Egg, I put the Sookwang double sided tape on a piece of white card stock, and then exposed the tape, and added the Easter Egg peel off sticker.  Cool Highlight Glitter Ritz was added and burnished in.  The Egg was then colored with Copic Markers. I cut around the egg, saving a 1/2 inch stripe which was stamped with the sentiment.  The Easter Egg and the sentiment were then added to the card.
