Feel Better Card

Recently my mom had a knee replacement.  Then she injured a shoulder.  Then she fell and injured her other shoulder.  After her fall, I made the following card for her.  The card is 4.25 x 5.5.

I used the following to make the card:
  • Everyday Paper Dolls - Cricut Cartridge
  • Zing Clear Embossing Powder
  • Versamark
  • EZ De's 1" Rail Fence Set A stamp set
  • Misti
  • Kelly Craft Get it Straight Laser Square
  • Simon Says Stamp Stitched Rectangles
  • Cuttlebug
To make the card, I cut the images from the Everyday Paper Dolls cartridge at 4".  I used a combination of accessories.  To make the sling, I cut the arm, placed it over the body and added a triangular piece of white card.  The doll was then added to the peach card stock that was cut with a Simon Says Stamp Stitched Rectangle Die using my Cuttlebug.

The card base was stamped multiple with the heart stamp from the EZ De's stamp set using Versamark.  I used my Misti to align the stamp for each row.  The clear embossing powder was added and then heat set.  I then used the Get it Straight Laser Square to align the image on the card base.

Birthday Golfer with Paper Dolls for Everyday Cricut Cartridge

Here is a card that I made my stepson's birthday who loves to golf.  This card is 5 x 6.5.

For the card, I used:
  • Paper Dolls for Everyday Cricut Cartridge
  • Cricut Black Marker
  • Wink of Stella Clear
  • Copic Markers R29, YG07, G09, E11
  • Glossy Accents
  • Technique Tuesday Greenhouse Society Stems Stamp Set
  • Stampendous Pirate Gold Embossing Power
  • Versamark
To make the card, I first outlined using a black Copic marker, then cut all of the golfer pieces at 3.75 inches from the Paper Dolls for Everyday Cricut Cartridge.
  • The body was cut from white paper, and then colored using Copic Marker E11.
  • All of the clothing, shoes, hair and cap were added to the body.
  • The flag was cut from gray card stock, then the grass colored with G09 and YR07, and the flog colored with R29.  Wink of Stella was then added to the flag and the pole.  Glossy Accents was added to the pole.
  • Wink of Stella and Glossy Accents were added to the clubs in the golf bag.
When assembling the card, I used pop dots behind the flag, and the golf bag to add a bit of dimension.  The golf bag was slung over the golfer's shoulder.  The sentiment was stamped in Versamark, then heat embossed with Pirate Gold embossing power.

Baby Card

Here is a card that was inspired by several pins on Pinterest (see the original websites at: http://melodylanedesigns.blogspot.com/2014/02/baby-shower-card.html
http://www.gotrubberwillstamp.blogspot.com/2011_04_01_archive.html)

The card is 4x5.5,  The background quilt is 4x4, and made up of 1x1 inch squares and triangles.  The quilt was then embossed with Stampin' Up! Houndstooth embossing folder.

The giraffes are from the Artbooking Cricut cartridge, cut at 8" and 5" (real dial size was off - so these cut proportionally).  The baby carriage is from the Everyday Paper Dolls Cricut Cartridge, cut at 2 1/4 inches.  The grass is from Martha Stewart Season Cake Art Cartridge, cut at 1 inch.

The scalloped circle for the sentiment was cut from a Spellbinders die.
