Gift Card Holder

Here is a gift card holder that I recently made.  I got the idea (and followed all the directions) from:

To make the holder, start with a 6.75 x 5 piece of card stock.  Directions for scoring and folding:

The trim pieces are 2 x 3.75 and 1.5 x 3.75
The band is 6" x .75".

I rounded the corners on the top section.

After the holder is put together, place the band carefully around the holder and secure.  You don't want it too tight or it will be difficult to put on or remove.  Embellish as desired.

Just by changing the papers, and the stamp, the gift card could be used for any occasion.

Here are a the ones that I made for Christmas.

Christmas 2009 - Gift Card Holder

Here is a gift card holder I made in 2009.  The gift card holder is from Wild Card, and it took a bit of patience (and several cuts) to get the dimensions just right.  The ornament on the front is from Very Merry Tags.

Gift Card Holder

This is a 4 x 5.5 gift card holder. I got the idea from a video I saw (can't remember where it was!).  I liked this holder since it was a card as well.  Several people this year are getting gift cards and this came in handy.

The lace ribbon is from a Martha Stewart punch.  The Christmas ornament is from Joys of the Season cut at 2 inches  (Ornament <Garland>).

Here is the basic layout for the card, cutting and folding ....
