Radiant Roses Layering Bundle

There are so many options with the Radiant Roses Layering Bundle.  For my next card, I used the layering stencil and the embossing folder to make a quick and elegant card.

I used the following to make the card:

  • Gina K Designs - Master Layouts 1
  • Gina K Designs - Ink - Dark Orchid, Medium Orchid, Light Orchid, Jelly Bean Green, Asparagus, Black Onyx
  • Gina K Designs - Radiant Roses Layering Bundle - Stencil, Embossing Folder, Stamps, Dies
  • Gina K Designs - Disco Ball Sequins
To make the card, I embossed a piece of white card stock with the embossing folder.  The layering stencil was then used over the embossed area to add the ink colors with a blending brush.  The panel and a black mat were then cut with the ML 1 dies.  These were added to a card base.  The sentiment was stamped in black then die cut with the associated die and added to the card with foam tape.  A few disco ball sequins were added to complete the card.

Radiant Roses - Foiled

I'm just loving the Radiant Roses Layering Bundle from Gina K Designs.  There are just so many options available with this bundle.  For my first card, I decided to use just the layering stencils and foil. (and I got a decent picture of the foiled images!)

I used the following for the cards:

  • Gina K Designs - Radiant Roses Layering Stencils
  • Gina K Designs - Bold Bloom (for the sentiment)
  • Gina K Designs - Black Onyx Ink
  • Gian K Designs - Master Layouts 1
  • Gina K Designs - Paper - Kraft, Black and Plum Punch
  • Deco Foil - Transfer Gel
  • Deco Foil - Emerald Watercolor and Amethyst Watercolor foils
To make the card, I added the deco foil gel through one of the layers of the stencil.  Once it was dry, the area was foiled.  The next layer was then aligned and deco foil gel added. Again, once dried, the area foiled.  The entire panel and the black mat were then cut with ML 1.  These were then added to the plum card base.  I kept things simple, and added a small sentiment to the bottom corner to complete the card.

Happy Pi Day!

Here is a card I made for my Dad.  He loves Pies and always tries to get my Mom to make him one on Pi day.  Since I don't live close by, I can't make him a pie, so I thought I would make him a card instead!

I used the following for the card:

  • Creek Bank Creations - Eat Pie stamp set
  • Creek Bank Creations - Angel Side Circle Card Die
  • Gina K Designs - Chocolate Truffle Ink
  • Copic Markers - E33, E35, E37, R20, R22, R24, R39
  • Patterned Paper
To make the card, I cut white card stock with the die, and assembled the base card.  I cut the patterned paper using the included stitched rectangle and circle die.  These were added to the front portions of the card.  Patterned paper was also added to the inside of the card and this was hand cut to fit.  The pie was stamped on white card stock using the Gina K ink.  It was then colored using Copic markers.  I fussy cut the pie and added it to the front of the card using foam squares.  I added a stamped phrase to the next layer of the card, making sure it was hidden by the pie.  For the inside, I used my Cricut to cut the sentiment.  The sentiment was added to white card stock and added to the inside to complete the card.
