Vintage Bicycle Card

The Vintage Summer kit from Gina K Designs has images that make wonderful Vintage style cards.  The frames in Master Layouts 12 add an additional vintage look to cards.

I used the following for the card:

• Black and White card stock
• Gina K Designs - Master Layouts 12
• Gina K Designs - Vintage Summer stamps and dies
• Gina K Designs - Black Onyx Ink
• Prismacolor Pencils in a variety of colors

To make the card, the card base was created with white card stock.  A piece of black card stock was trimmed to a smaller size than the card base and added to it.  The frame was cut using one of the dies from Master Layouts 12 and added to the card.  The Bicycle image was stamped with Black Onyx ink and then cut using the associated die.  The image was colored with Prismacolor pencils and added to the card  base to complete the card.

60 Candles Birthday Card

This 60th Birthday card looks plain on the front, but when its opened there are 60 candles on the inside!  I designed this card using my Cricut and images available in Design Space.

The following was used to make the card:

• Cricut Self-designed card with candle shadow
• Mama Elephant - Make a Wish Stamp Set
• CTMH - Curlicue Alphabet Stamp Set
• MFT - Old Friends Stamp Set
• Gina K Designs - Black Onyx Ink, various pale shades

To make the card, the card was designed in Cricut Design Space and all pieces were cut.  The card was assembled making sure to vary the candle designs.  On the outside of the card, "60" was stamped all over in varying pale shades of ink.  The Happy Birthday sentiment was then stamped.  A sentiment was added to the inside form the Old Friends stamp set to complete the card.

 

Butterfly Birthday Card

Our youngest granddaughter is tuning 9 this year and her favorite color is pink.  I think she will like the card I created for her this year!  You can't get much more pink than this one:

 The following was used for the card:

• Gina K Designs - Master Layouts 2 and 3
• Gina K Designs - Light Carnation and Bubblegum Ink
• Gina K Designs - Water Droplets Stencil
• Hero Arts - Beautiful Butterflies Stamps and Dies
• Honey Bee Stamps - Inside Birthday Stamps

To make the card the card base was created with White card stock.  The Water Droplet stencil and Light Carnation ink were used on a piece of pink card stock, which was then cut using Master Layouts 2 along with the black mat.  These were attached to the card base.  The Butterfly was stamped using Bubblegum ink and then cut using the associated die.  A square of the pink card stock was cut using Master Layouts 3 along with the associated black mat.  These were added to the card and the butterfly attached on top.  The sentiment was stamped using Bubblegum ink and cut with one of the banner dies from Master Layouts 3 and added to the card base to complete the card. 

Happy Anniversary

I have paper from the Crafters Consortium which looks like gorgeous alcohol ink backgrounds.  I am always looking for ways to use it.  Here I used it for an Anniversary Card.

I used the following for the card:

• Crafters Consortium - Paper - Ink Drops Candy
• Gold Paper
• Time Holtz - Skeleton Leaves
• Gina K Designs - Wild Lilac Ink
• Picket Fence Studios - Words to Say Happy Anniversary Stamp

To make the card, I cut strips of the paper and attached them to the card base using foam tape.  Using foam tape provided a bit of dimension to the card. The leaves were cut using gold paper and attached to the card.  The sentiment was stamped and added to complete the card. 

Butterfly Birthday

I love butterflies, so the February 2023 Hero Arts kit was one that I had to have!  Here is the first card I made with the kit:

 I used the following for the card:

• Hero Arts - February Card Kit (Butterfly Window Fancy Die and Stencils used)
• Gina K - Variety of ink colors
• Gina K - Radiant Roses (sentiment)
• Foam Tape

To make the card. I first cut the paper with the die, then using the stencils and a rainbow selection of Gina K inks the butterflies were colored.  The panel was mounted on a card base and the sentiment stamped to complete the card.
