Here is my Christmas thank-you cards for this year.
This card is 4.25 x 5.5. The base of the card is in dark green. The red in the background was cut 1/8 of an inch smaller than the base of the card. The embossing was done with a Sizzix folder - Poinsettia Pattern. I used a Stampendous stamp, and colored it with my Copic markers. The Thank-you is embossed, and brads added.

Gift Card Holder
Here is a gift card holder that I recently made. I got the idea (and followed all the directions) from:
To make the holder, start with a 6.75 x 5 piece of card stock. Directions for scoring and folding:
The trim pieces are 2 x 3.75 and 1.5 x 3.75
The band is 6" x .75".
I rounded the corners on the top section.
After the holder is put together, place the band carefully around the holder and secure. You don't want it too tight or it will be difficult to put on or remove. Embellish as desired.
Just by changing the papers, and the stamp, the gift card could be used for any occasion.

Glitter Ritz and Stamping
Here is a card that I made with a Stampendous Stamp (one of my favorites), and Glitter Ritz. The idea for this card came from a YouTube video by Scrapbooking Made Simple.
For this card I stamped the image twice. On the base layer, I lightly sponged on Memento Rich Cocoa to give the card an aged looked. From the second image, I cut out the center portion, and used Memento ink, and Copic markers to add a bit of color. Then, Sookwang double sided tape was added to the image, and Cool Highlights Glitter Ritz was added. The image was added to the base, with foam, to add a bit of dimension.

More from A Quilted Christmas
Here is another card that was made with the Cricut cartridge A Quilted Christmas. This card is 4.25 x 5.5. To add the the
glitter, I attached Sookwang double sided tape to a 4 1/8 x 5.25 square of
white card stock. This was added to the back of the cut area, and Glitter Ritz
in Regal Red and Cool Highlight was very carefully added. The bag and eyes were colored with a Copic Marker.
