Gift Card Holder

This is a 4 x 5.5 gift card holder. I got the idea from a video I saw (can't remember where it was!).  I liked this holder since it was a card as well.  Several people this year are getting gift cards and this came in handy.

The lace ribbon is from a Martha Stewart punch.  The Christmas ornament is from Joys of the Season cut at 2 inches  (Ornament <Garland>).   

Here is the basic layout for the card, cutting and folding ....

A Holly Christmas Card

This card is 5 x 7.  The background was cut at 4.75 x 6.75.  The Border is from the Lacy Labels Cartridge, cut at 4.25 inches (<All Boy> layer).  A piece of white card stock was cut to fit the opening of the border.  The holly is from the Stretch Your Imagination Cartridge (<Holly>) cut at 2.5 inches.  The berries are the Layer function of <Holly>, also cut at 2.5 inches.

Snowman Christmas Card

This card is 5x7, All cuts are from the Snow Friends Cartridge, Snowman #5,  cut at 5 inches.  All Layers were used.

Yet another Chirstmas Card

This card is 5 x 7.  The Door is from the Christmas Solutions Cartridge, cut at 6 Inches.  The layers for the door were cut at 6 inches (shift function for the door).  The wreath and layers for the wreath are from Joys of the Season (<Wreath1>, cut at 2 inches.  A brad was used for the door handle. 

Christmas Card 3

Here is the third card that I made this year.    

This card is 4 x 5.25.  The 2 green strips were cut at 1.25 x 5.25 and 1.25 x 4 inches.  These were added to the card, then the background was embossed with the Seasons Greeting Cuttlebug folder.  The "Bow" was cut from the Storybook Cartridge, at 3.5 inches, using the accent and accent blackout features of the <Marquee1> key.  The stamp was one that I had.

Christmas Card #2

Here is the second of several Christmas cards.   All cuts are from the Christmas Solutions Cartridge.  The Window (Brown), Blackout Window  (cream), and snow (white) are cut at 5 inches.   The Tree is cut at 4.25 inches.  I used the I-Rock tool and gems for the Christmas Tree lights.

Christmas Card #1

Well, its that time of year.  I've been busy creating Christmas cards.  I had several ideas, and made 7 sample cards.  My goal this year was to make cards that were quick and easy.  Here is the first of several cards I will be posting over the next several weeks.

This card is 4 x 5.5 inches.  All of the cuts are from the Winter Woodland cartridge.  The snowflake and background are all <Snowflk 4>, cut at 3.25 inches.  The lighter green is the shadow feature, the darker green is the blackout feature, the snowflake is the layer, and the red is the shift.

For the background I used the Snowflakes Cuttlebug embossing folder, and used the I-Rock tool to add a bit of sparkle.
