I've needed a few more Anniversary cards in my stash of cards, so I tried a technique that was new to me, adding glitter over an inked image! Capturing the glitter on the cards was difficult, and the pictures just doesn't show how glittery the card it.
I used the following for the card:
- Tim Holtz - Doily Stencil
- Elizabeth Craft Designs - Warm Diamond Glitter
- Ranger - Classic Cherry Die Ink
- Versamark
- Stampendous - Detail White Embossing Powder
- Clearly Besotted - Tiny Type
- Sookwang - Double Sided Tape
To make the card, the stencil was placed over a piece of white card stock and the Cherry Red ink was added using one of the Picket Fence Life Changing Brushes. I then added the double sided tape to the image, and covered it with the glitter. The image was then trimmed and matted with black card stock. This was added to the card base. The sentiment was stamped with Versamark, the white embossing powder added and heat set to complete the card.
